I took an engine out of a 2000 F150 7700 with a sterling 10.5 with a tight posi. I have a 2000 F350 witht he same 10.5 rear axle. Obviously the F150 is 7 lug and my truck is 8 lug.

Anyways I was wondering what it takes to swap carriers and put the posi in my F350?

I dont know how to tell with out taking out the axles if there are spline differences in the axles. Then again I dont know if it matters but I think it does because axles spline into the carrier I think right? I do not want to go 7 lug.
