same issue, drained flushed and still loosing coolant after a couple weeks, when i turn on the heat i get a coolant smell for a bit then it goes away... and the started teh truck up today...first 10 mins alot of smoke then its all gone ... any suggestions what to look at next...

It's the heater core, mine did that for 2 months with the smell, until the rug started getting wet.... $700 later I have a new core installed.... and have heat too for the 1st time since owning the vehicle.... about dam time!

I have some instructions on how to replace your core if you're interested in fixing it yourself. It's not an easy job though, it took me about 10 hours to do mine.
