Nuttin to yap about, so I stay quiet. Did finally get the rear springs changed out on the Mustang. Had to cut the front eye as the bolts after 44 years were very much rusted in place. While changing the springs, found the drivers side had 2 out of 4 leafs broken.
I "hung out" at Burts quite a bit while they were doing my 460. Had the block Magnafluxed, came back with Magnaflux OK written on the end of the block, dude started to load it onto the boring machine & looked at #4 main web casting & saw it was cracked all the way from top to bottom. They got me another block & had it magnafluxed then went over it with a magnifying glass. They don't rush things, and seem to do everything right. My 460 came out of a propane company service truck with 105K on it. The propane had burned away all the valves & seats so everything is new except the heads, rods, & crank.

Last week was my first time there and I was in the shop...oh boy, my eyes popped out of my head with all the questions I could ask But I limited it to one medium-sized question: how to you stroke a crank.
Mike was very nice and explained, with one he was working on, how to do that. If I can go in there and ask a question every time I go, I'd be a happy clam.
I get my parts today, 2 days late but that's not a huge deal.
yessir! It is built and ready to drop in to the truck. I think my neighbor and I will have time tomorrow after work to drop it in. I am switching between that and a tile job so I am not sure when I will have time to hook everything up and start it but might be during next week.
Hey guys, it's been a while since I checked in here. Gonna finally be back out there(sadly only for 10 days) starting May 18th. Anybody interested in a gtg sometime the beginning of that next week? It would be cool to meet some of you guys and some your projects
