Duralast has to be the worst brand of clutch i have ever driven. You can forget spinning tires, instead you will do clutch burnouts. Also with the duralast kit the clutch was very hard to push down.

You paid $274 for a clutch AND it was installed for that price?

To the OP, look in to a LUK clutch or Borg Warner

"Installed" kind of implies you paid to have the work done.

Rangergirl, why on earth would you go to Autozone and get whatever made in China crap they sell for a clutch kit? I figured you have been around these forums long enough to know better!

Get a Luk kit.

Luk, Hays, or even FoMoCo. Always spend the money and buy quality parts the first time.

Good Luck.

Installed is self explanitory.....Whether paid, or by myself...

If I'd have paid for it...I'd have listed it as a PAID installation...

My buddy uses a center force in his pulling truck. It definitely grabs like nothing else I've ever used.
When I replaced the clutch in my truck I got whatever severe duty kit that Carquest sells. I will say that I'm not overly impressed with it, but it doesn't slip or anything with a load behind the truck or when I pull out stuck vehicles so that's a plus.

Centerforce is HD towing/Racing...So yea...They're serious...And serious $$$ too...

IIRC...A M5OD clutch kit from them was a mere $450...
