V10 After Market Fuel Tank

Does anyone know where to get a larger fuel tank? 60 gallons or so. I often find myself several hundreds of miles from fueling stations in the summer time when I'm pulling my trailer. I'd like to get away from packing extra jerry cans around.

Here you go...but they come with at cost.

Ford pickup replacement tanks

I remember some here putting these on their trucks.

Then there are these... but again they are pricey.

Toolbox and fuel tank combos
Thanks bud. I was looking at those earlier, unfortunately they don't have anything for a 2009.

popo1 had a 2008 V10 he installed a transfer flow tank. Might be worth a call to them if you seriously looking for a larger tank.

I put the Transfer flow tank (46gal) less than a year after I bought my truck and haven’t looked back since. I got real tired of only getting just over 225 miles on a tank towing. Sure, it cost 1300 bucks installed part of that being the CARB cert, but being able to go 550 miles on the highway empty and 375 towing really makes a big difference on a long trip. Aero Tanks in Corona Ca. makes 55gal replacements tanks but don't have the CARB certs. Stupid California smog laws......

That’s a nice tank. 51 gallons is pretty good. Try giving Aero tanks a call in Corona Cailifornia (http://www.aerotanks.com/) and see if they have a 55 gal replacement tank. When I was looking into getting a tank these were only about 600 bucks, but I couldn’t use it here in California because it didn’t have the CARB sticker and would not pass the visual inspection for the smog testing we have to do every 2 years. The tanks were made for gas or diesel and a direct replacement for the factory tank just like the one you were looking at.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

I sent them an email. Doesn't look like they have a gas listed. We'll soon find out.
