My girlfriend bought me this magnet for my truck this past weekend. (I marked out the swear word to keep it g-rated) I laughed because I HATE when people criticize my daily driver and tell how they would have done things differently. What has your loved ones bought you for your truck?

 

I like it! My gal bless her heart, Went to a swap meet and noticed that when we got back there were a pair of clean rims sitting in the truck. I asked here where these came from and she said happy fathers day honey. Well I bought 2 more later to get a full set. Not exactly what I had planned but heck. It was pretty cool of her to do.

 

mine worked out a little differently. my birthday occurs around father's day so the kids/grandkids combine them for me. they wanted to buy something for the truck and i had just ordered all the trim items i needed to finish the truck. i gave them the packing list and let them pick out parts to "sponsor". hinge mounted mirror, etc. it worked out well for everyone, especially me.

Mine bought me a fuseable link and some fuses to get the new stereo installed a couple days ago, but she wants to be paid back the 7 dollars

 

I can't remember half the stuff I bought for the truck, but I do remember this Dakota Digital guage setup that the wife bought for it...

 

My wife has bought me thousands of dollars worth of stuff for my truck! She only seems to know about 10 percent of it.......LOL

 

I'm to broke to have a GF or a wife.... Even though my Mother got me a new window for my F-1 this past xmas and a hundered dollor gift card to So-Cal from my sister.

 

A sticker with several classic trucks I keep under the glass of my desk. Besides that, not exactly for the truck, but a '53 1:18 model.

 

My wife Roberta sanded and finished my bed wood which I thought was pretty neat. She hasn't really bought anything for it but she's got a good bit of labor in it.

 

My wifes contribution will be doing the upholstery in my/our trucks, thats her trade so i consider myself VERY lucky. And she rarely objects when i want to buy something needed for the truck. Shes a keeper.

Wow, your loved ones really have come through for most of you. I bought a truck and all I got from my GF was a lousy magnetic. lol KIDDING! I have been blessed as many of you have been as well. I think we are all lucky when we have our family and friends support our addiction, I mean passions.
