So its been 4 years since my mud trucks been licensed, and this past spring i finally got plates for it again. (Got the expensive hobbiest plate too, ill never have to renew it again!) Its also been 4 years since Ive had my swampers on, and I couldnt take it any more!! figured id take a pic and share w you guys, I cant get the grin off my face! Its real hard not to drive this truck everywhere now, but I dont want to wear them off in just one summer lol!

Killer looking truck. Super swampers are hard to beat, but easy to burn up lol. hobbiest plates are definitely worth it if you drive the truck long enough.

Yeah, i plan on having this truck for a long, long time. Too many good memories and too much money in it to give er away now.

And theyre just TSL radials, no iroks.

Don't worry, when he puts it to use you won't be able to see the paint job.

Hobbiest plates are available for modified vehicles over 20 years old. Pay a one time fee of 240 bucks, and they send you a new title, registration, and license plates. And then you never have to renew your plates/registration again.

For stock vehicles we have "collector" plates. vehicle has to be 20 years old, but with no aftermarket modifications.

Only restriction on these plates is I can haul almost nothing, and i cant drive the truck in Jan. Which doesnt matter to me, i have a DD for work duties, and i dont drive it on the salt covered roads anymore anyways.

none of my cars and trucks are considered "stock" anymore ..... Lowered, lifted, tubbed, caged ... i can't leave well enough alone ... and my newest one is a 95 ... so it's nearing that time ...

I wonder if these are offered in Iowa
