Thanks for the input, Corey. I've been thinking about installing one on my '97, but wasn't sure if they really worked or not. I haven't driven in any trucks with a visor installed. They don't look like they'd be in the way of a camper, but wasn't sure about the noise, if any, they'd cause. Does the visor "flap" around while driving? Or are they pretty sturdy?

This depends on the brand of visor. The first one I had was a cheap one from J C Whitney. What a joke. After that one ripped off, I went with a Lund visor. That one is rock solid. No noise or vibration. The last 2 I purchased were used ones off EBay.

Thanks, Tom and Corey. Does it attach with screws? Or Lund's double-sided tape? I have a passenger-side VentVisor that is coming loose. Not sure if I can purchase just the double-sided tape to reattach it properly. Wouldn't want a visor coming loose at freeway speeds.

Large sheet metal screws. After the holes are drilled, put some silicone around and a dab in the drilled hole to help seal the hole.

Nope doesn't shake or make noise, probably doesn't help the milage any though. It's like me and 80s rock, it just goes with the truck.

1996 F250XL 2WD...This was the day I picked it up from the used car lot. I found it online just North of Oklahoma City in 2010. It was a one owner with 145K miles, new motorcraft batteries and new tires. I paid the man $5K and drove it 5 hours to home. So far I love it!
