Question Making the Rear Seat Safer

Recently I was in an accident where I had several other people in the truck with me when it happened. In spite of being hit by an International tow truck (the irony kills me), good ol' White Lightnin' took the hit pretty well. The people in the rear seat unfortunately, did not. Their heads bonked up against the back glass. After this incident I'm really looking at trying to improve the safety situation in the rear seat. About the easiest thing I can think of at the moment is getting some headrests in the back. Unfortunately, my truck is a '98 model, and I'm noticing that its only the newer generations that have rear seats with headrests on them. Are there any options for helping protect passengers from hitting their heads on the back glass? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I take it you have an extended cab truck.
I would wonder if the later 01-03 rear seats in extended cab trucks have the head rests? That would be the first thing I would look at.
The only question would be whether the seat mounts are the same.
