Parts request - '62 defroster cones

Okay, if I've done my research correctly utilizing the master parts and accessories CDs, I need to find a source for the following part numbers:

C1TZ-18A636-A
C5TZ-18A637-A

These are the cones that attach to the bottom of the defroster outlet grille on my '62 F700. According to the master parts listing, all 61 - 63 F, N, NT, & T100 - 1100 are the same. I have the defroster grilles, but the cones and hose are missing. I can find defroster hose, but haven't found the cones anywhere.

Appreciate any source suggestions.

Do not waste time with the cardboard units. Use 67 to 72. These are reproduced and cheap.

Think outside the box dude.

Which 1967/72's might these be?

1967 F100/250's with the economy heater use the same cardboard nozzles as 1961/66.

1967/72 F100/750's with the deluxe heater use different nozzles (2-C7TZ-18A636-A).

1968/72 F100/350's with factory installed integral A/C use a different nozzle (1-C8TZ-18A636-A).

I was looking for the same item for my 65, and I came across a 2.5 to 3 inch adapter made for woodworking dust collection systems.

I cut it just beyond that flange that circles the unit and polished it up with some sandpaper. It fits perfectly into the defroster hole and connects up with the 2.5 inch defroster tube.

I bought mine locally, but here is one online.

I assume your dimensions are the same as '65. If '62s use a different size, you can just get a different adapter.

The deluxe and Cardboard are the same diameter, Dude. All the way up until 79. Difference is how they mount. The card board ones have a flange and install above the dash. The rubber ones Have a slot that the sheet metal of the dash in encased by above and below. If one lives in a humid area the cardboard ones will deteriorate where as the Rubber ones will not.

I have a pair of 78s in my 64.

I gave up on cardboard ones in the 80s.......
