I always let Squatch change my oil, and he only uses lanolin based oils. (Never cared for the Kennedy based oils, as they were diluted with overseas scotch).

I fired Squatch after I found my beef jerky missing from my truck!

Maybe adding purple food coloring to Motorcraft oil will make your engine last twice as long and have twice the power. Only if you wear your Burger King crown so you can be royal

Read all about it. Knock yourself out.
Ditto on Bob is the Oil Guy, that is the No.1 oil site and ask all you want. Personally, I use Chevron Delo 10-30 dino, very cheap at Costco and their 15-40 diesel oil is also one of the best out there. I am not a real fan of synthetics; I had iron problems on my '02 7.3 caused by Amsoil use for 100k as have others; do your research on Bob's site.

You gotta search around on that site anymore there is a lot of pointless arguing over thick vs thin oil. The majority of which is just opinion as there are positives and negatives to both depending on application. Still some excellent info on there if you're willing to dig though.

Pennzoil Platinum > Mobil 1

Pennzoil Ultra > Mobil 1 EP

IMO, of course. You'll find plenty of subjective information on BITOG that supports that opinion, however.

Pennzoil Ultra is an exceptional oil that has closed the gap with the boutique manufacturers like Amsoil.

Check out the NOACK volatility of Ultra here: http://www.epc.shell.com/Docs/GPCDOC...1207271344.pdf

I use Castrol GTX Ultraclean in 5w-30 exclusively, along with Motorcraft filters.

Every 3,000 miles religiously.
