looking into that. didnt find what you described yet...but found this old thread

i guess a complaint is that the factory fogs arent bright enough. well by design, fog lights arent meant to be brighter, they are meant to be diffused light. meaning non focused, aka opposite of headlights. reason being, in fog, light refracts (bounces) off the moisture in the air and causes undesireable effects which can impair the driver. fog lights are diffused light which aid in lighting the path without bouncing light back at the drivers eyes.

Ah - cool ! interested in those and how you mounted them...
and yes you can update your stock lights I have some upgrades on the desk I'm going to try when I have a minute
Ford F250 Headlight bulbs, F250 Fog Light Bulbs
no need for photobucket account.. fte has a gallery you can use by clicking the User CP on upper left and import to your gallery
OR when posting just use the go advanced button and scroll down to the manage attachments and it will load pictures in your post like here:

Haven't got to the lites yet... still sitting right there next to the laptop
BUT, I did get my new toys in...
installed the McGard tailgate lock in about 1 minute!
installed the DeeZee tailgate assist in about 20 minutes (since their instructions were SO horrible and they left out a BIT of information....
(like what IS a nutsey ?!?!
and when u say use the M6 Allen and a 13 MM wrench to tighten it down...
what do u mean - tighten the lock nut, the m6 allen wrench, the 13 mm wrench-
OH ! you mean turn the allen wrench counterclockwise and the 13 mm wrench holds it in place !!!!
and count 9 turns when u only have roon to do it an 1/8th of a turn at a time ??!?! ?
why not give us a torque setting ?!!?)
but in spite of that got it done and it works GREAT.... so far ! worried about the nutsey or whatever they call that....
drops quickly to within 2 inches of level then slows down perfectly....
no real help in lifting it up .. but great to drop it and no BANG !
Now, pre-fitting my bed side step !!!

I ordered one yesterday to go with the new lid. It's a big gate and I don't want my kids to get hurt. They are always opening it up at the soccer fields. My little guy is only 10 and he barely can open it by himself (safely).

the instructions miss steps and their online videos don't match either so try the install when they are open or give me a shout - glad to help....

If you don't mind, could you take a picture of it installed in yours and post it or PM it to me? That would help a ton. No hurry...it won't be here until Wednesday or Thursday of next week.
