black CPS

Hey guys Ive been trying to find a black international cps but have had no luck with it. I did come across rock auto who has a black cps but says its delphi.
DELPHI Part # HTS101
Actual OE Part; From Engine No 375549

thats the part description for it. is this a good cps to use??? or should i keep hunting around?

I got a black one from the Ford dealership. It is a DU-87 cps. It crosses to a international part number, but I don't have it in front of me right now. So far it is a good one.

I don,t think the "original" black cps is available anymore. Ford wouldn't sell one of those as it was a recall. At least I don't think they would. Who knows maybe you lucked out. I bought 3 when you could get them. Do the search for cps, there is a lot on them.
Guys have done tests on some of the recent ones from different sources.

This fella is smokin crack.Look at what he wants for this black cps.Has the same part number as the one you bought from Ford.


5 NEW FORD POWERSTROKE 7.3 CAM SENSOR CPS 94-96 | eBay
If you look at his feedback he has sold several of the same cps for $28 or so.Not sure what he is doing on this one unless looking for a homerun.

That's the one I have. I bought it at the Ford dealership here in Lakewood, WA. After taxes I think it was around $54.00. Try them.

I think you missed that the auction is for 5 units.

Those are the dark blue CPS's. They are the upgraded ones for the 94-96 trucks.

Overall the black one is the best correct? Right now I'm running a grey, have a grey spare and blue spare.
