Is that a 6 cyl or 8 cyl shroud?
I have an original 6 cyl shroud off of a 49 or 50. I think 48-52 were all the same. Someone here will know for sure.

48-52 239 shroud - 21T8146
48-51 226 shroud - 8HT8146
52 215 shroud - 2QC8146A

Judging by the part numbers V8 and 6 cyl shrouds were different. However, I believe that the only difference between a 48-52 239 and 48-51 226 shrouds are the notches in the shrouds for the water tubes from the different radiators.

Actually, 6 and v8 shrouds are completely different. The V8 unit is about 3 times as deep, and as noted has 2 sets of dimples top and bottom for the hoses. The 6 shroud is very shallow, flat across the top and only has one hose dimple at the bottom. It really wouldn't be feasible to try to use one for the other.

Thanks, Wayne. I never had a 48-51 226 fan shroud. I have a 239 and 215 fan shrouds. I'd be interested in seeing pictures of the 226 fan shroud.

Both of my F6 trucks had shrouds. It's the same piece for the 226 and 254 sixes. One was pristine, the other had been 'modified' at some point by a frustrated - and I hate to use the word 'mechanic' here - that must have been having an issue with it and/or the water pump or radiator or fan, or something up front. I've since sold the good one to someone here, the other I still have if someone wanted a restoration project. I thought I had pics, I just have to find them.
