F250 Triton V10 6.8L IAC Idle Air Control Valve WHERE IS IT?

I just bought an 06' F250 with the V10 6.8L in it and I really like the truck. Idle is a little bit rough. It is hunting / searching for idle. Once it stalled on me at a stoplight. I did some searching on this site and found that it most likely is the IAC ( Idle Air Control Valve ) and I have been searching for this (see pic below) I can't find it!

I have been looking directly behind the throttle body as shown on this thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...e-for-v10.html But I can't see or 'feel' anything like it. I am wondering if the motor in the above thread, based off the year difference. . . is just much different than mine. Here are a couple pictures of my motor:

I realize that these do not show the back of the throttle body. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also. . . probably totally unrelated but in my exploring I have found a section below and to the passenger side of the throttle body where it looks like it missing a component. I am curious. Here is a picture:

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Your truck doesn't have an IAC. Those were used on engines that had a cable controlled throttle. Your truck doesn't have a throttle cable, it has a fly by wire throttle. The computer controls the throttle plate to control the idle.

You may have a misfire.

You can try cleaning your throttle body if it is sticking.

Change fuel filter? Clean MAF.

As Mark had said, you don't have an IAC valve.

You probably need to replace the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). See my thread below.

Thank you everyone for your posts. I soaked the MAF in MAF cleaner for an hour or so and disconnected the negative lead to the battery for that same hour. . . . It not only seemed to fix my idle issue. . . . It feels like a completely different truck!

Thanks for all your help!

I have the P0506 code going on I changed the fuel filter cleaned the MAS. In my research it said I might need to change my throttlebody and check for vacuum leaks. I deeply appreciate you guys being here.

No. It has the ETB.

I think the 2004 6.8 in the SD line was the last to use the IAC.
