MiniMaxx Wiring

I just installed the minimaxx on my 09 250 and the instructions say to hook the power to the solid purple capped wire under the column. When I do that and turn the key for the glow plugs to heat the tuner comes on. Then when I crank it over the tuner reboots. Does anyone know what wire I would hook it to that stays hot during cranking, or do I not need to worry about it.

Thanks in advance

Snowman, mine does the same thing, I don't think you need to worry about it.

You are hooked to the right wire. Your trucks computer is already programed, you could even remove your mini madisplay) and still run on your last tune.
No worries mate!

You are hooked to the right wire. You could even remove your mini max (display) and your truck will still run the last tune you have installed. No worries mate!

Mine is the same way. No problem. You could hook it up to an upfitter and only turn it on when you need it.
