Crown Performance makes some awesome brake lines, BUT when I tried to run them on my truck, they weren't really even close to fitting at the calipers. The bend in the steel portion of the line was wrong and it hit the calipers and b/c of the way the caliper is cut, the block on the line wouldn't sit flat on the caliper. From what I can tell, all of our calipers are shaped/designed the same, so I'd beware of those lines on our trucks. They have a reputation for not fitting at all on the Broncos, F-150's, and F-250's.

I put those on the shelf and bought some Russel SS lines and they fit A LOT better. They are a little shorter than the Crown lines were, but they will actually bolt up.

That's good to hear. They make awesome lines, I've just never gotten a set that fit on my truck.

On mine for now I'm running stock brake lines, but I ran the hard line down below the frame... later on I'm planning on getting stainless braded lines

My truck is a 97, but my D60 is a 94. I originally had purchased Sky Jacker
extended brake lines but didn't like the way they tied into the junction box so I returned them & bought the set from Cary. Guess I got lucky!

I'm running a '94 D60 as well.

Just curious, are the lines then same for the same years F150's and Broncos? Or do you need to get F250 or F350 specific lines?

Also, what are the prices on the Russell and the Crown? Any links?

I took my stock lines to a hydraulic shop and had them make new ones but only 6" longer.
It is way better, faster and you can customize the length to what you need.

Plus it is way cheaper than anybody else sells them for.

Jim, You know my truck it has the D60 and RSK with "V" codes also. The lines work great.

You have a "hose man"? Why does that not surprise me. Is that where you do your swim suit shopping as well?

Nah, just working from home again today and trying to pass the time while doing as little actual work as possible.

When I talked to the local hydraulic shop they said that they weren't allowed by law to do brake lines because of safety regulations...
