i caught a baseball in the face one night going into second trying to break up a double play, i didnt get down far enough and the short stop didnt look he just threw it, i had the stitch imprint on my cheek for a couple of days, the guy took off running off the field he thought i was going to pumple him

I had a line drive hit me in the face. My fault, came under my glove. Had to get 6 stitches in the bottom part of my nose. Split the part between my nostrils. A friend had to drive me to and from the doctor's office. Blood everywhere.
