I've been on the Bumpside Forum for years with my '69F-100. I just bought an old relic I couldn't pass on. Even my wife got excited when we spotted it. Down in the Texas Hill Country a week or so ago and spotted what I thought was a 1946 Ford Panel truck. Come to find out it was a '42, for sale, and looked solid. Just a For Sale sign on it. No price, no phone number, no contact info. So we wrote down the phone number for the business it was parked in front of. It was Sunday, everything was closed. Next day I called to find out who owned it. To shorten up a week long story, I bought it and will go get it Thursday.
It's got a 5.0 roller motor, 5-speed, 9" 4:11 rear, Lincoln Town Car front clip, and air conditioning. Perfect stablemate for the '69. Will post pics soon. There now, I've said "Hey".

Although the '50's guys like to say it, but you're really on the "dark side" now. Less parts, less people Even some "Ford people" ask what year and make is that truck?
