Got both radiator hoses and a dome light lens ordered from LMC! Now I just gotta track down the elusive 335-series thermostat.

Motorcraft: RT-139

Bottom needs to look like this

so that the bypass is closed off when it opens.

That's DSII.
Find TDC
pull it
knock the roll pin out of the gear
Mark the gear. white stripe on it and the shaft
push off the gear
Pull the whole thing up through the top.
unscrew and remove the pickup/ reluctor
Re assemble.
adjust air gap with non magnetic feelers
Put back in

Set timing with vacuum line off and plugged to 10* btdc

Varooom!!! varoom!!!!

I'll look, I may have something. You do know that the bottom dosen't close all the way? The Thermostat you have pictured is in the "closed " position?

You may also have a problem, most are 180*, 195*, and 210* Not 192*

Models that parts stores list don't have the block off part. Even Motorcraft lists the wrong part number.

These will also work:

Motorcraft RT351 - 180F

Motorcraft RT350 - 160F

Rober Shaw makes the correct thermo, so if you can't find one, I'll get one from them.

Went to the pull today. 14 trucks, all efi or v8. 31 Taurus, all efi.

Did find a parking brake assembly that works and a factory am/fm/cass. Total was $12 haha.

Put out one fire for the night. 72 minutes on the phone. ugh. Family is home, fire #2.

Guy left me a message while I was MIA this morning about some fixit/lawn work. When I called him back his voicemail includes "property manager" If I get something in writing I'll be excited.
