Blown v10 sparkplug in grand junction

I have a 2001 ford f250 V10, which blew out a spark plug while on vacation. Now stranded in a campground in grand junction Colorado. Need opinion on which is better: heli-coil or TimeSert5553 kit, & could be done locally Monday AM, by any local shop, or should do ford dealer??
