i bought my 2000 excursion in may of 2013 and when i bought it the paint on the roof close to the rear hatch was already bare metal. some of the paint around the door cutouts was chipping away and so was some of the paint around the driver and passenger door window frame at the bottom aft corner of the window.

I didn't end up doing it

FORD THREATENED ME TO VOID WARRANTY if I did any repairs to the roof rusting out

So I traded that POS in. Notice that I have a Chevy now. Due to all of the paint issues I've had with 4 brand NEW Fords
