Talking Blue Spring Done - Why did I wait?

Been reading about the Blue Spring upgrade since the day I bought my truck.

Had the parts/pieces to complete the upgrade for 6 months...but I'm lazy.

Yesterday I saw my fuel psi drop <50 psi several times. So I figured I'd finally do the install. Can't believe I've been putting off that 30 minute easy install

This totally should have been the very 1st upgrade I did. If you are still on the fence, DO IT! Truck is more responsive, and maybe it's just the butt dyno, but she seems to pull alot harder. I'd try a burnout test, but I got popped for a $250 ticket Friday for doing a burnout ...so trying to be a good boy for awhile
72-74 psi at idle through light throttle
65+ psi at WOT

oh yeah, is it weird to have parts left over? Had 2 o-rings and a plastic casing left. I re-used the original cover and replaced the o-rings as applicable. Didn't see the point of using brand new cover and risk the fitting leaking

I used the new cover with mine. Yes, you will have parts left over.

You need to get that thing studded and get the SRL+ tune.

I did the blue spring and banjo bolts at the same time shortly after I got my truck. it pulls much harder and throttle response is amazing.

6.4 Banjo bolts are still on the shelf next to where the blue spring package sat. At some point I'll throw them in also

There are 2 of them.

1 is just the spring itself (cheap, $30 or so). It seems to be on National back order, and International quit carrying it

Or

You can get the Cover and spring kit. I think I paid $65 for mine. Comes with all new orings and cover.

About to walk into work. I'll take a picture of the packaging later when I get home. Search in this section and there are tons of posts with both #'s though

That is what I have been saying as well. I've got the banjo bolts and washers sitting on the shelf. It should be easy with the stator for the fan gone. All kinds of room in there now.
