Missing Hose? with pic

Can you guys help me here, I have no idea where there should be a hose going to.

On my 460, there are 2 charcoal canisters mounted on the frame behind the radiator on the passenger side, one upper and one lower. The hose goes from the solenoid in your pic to the top of the upper canister.

That's what I thought! But I out a hose there and got a CEL when it was connected so I took it back off and the CEL went away

I agree, pull the codes. That solenoid is the vapor canister purge solenoid and is part of the Evaporative Emissions Control System.

I will, gonna pick up an OBD1 scanner to rent from AutoZone. Just weird it codes on, but not off the canister
