Would you mind sharing a blank copy of your spreadsheet file? I'd love to consider using it for my work truck.

I've been using the Ford Owners site for a number of years. It does a have a couple of drawbacks.
1) it has no export feature. So if you want a backup you have to copy and paste all the HTML into an excel spreadsheet and re-format and add headers.
2) They seemed to have a problem for a while and I wasn't able to access almost 100 records I entered for my F150. Bummed me out because I was in the process of selling it and wanted to use it to show prospective buyers she had been babied over the years.
3) The site automatically picks up service history from the Ford dealers that work on your car. Unfortunately, it doesn't categorize the work performed properly. It does show the total cost; useful for finding out how much it cost Ford to replace that bad transmission that was covered under warranty (or engine replacement in Joel's case ) as the total amount shows up.
Its a shame, with a small amount of extra effort Ford could really make their site more user friendly and useful. It needs an export function at a bare minimum. An app could also be integrated into it very easily to set maintaince reminders, etc.

Yeah, I think it's a good idea. I have a similar spreadsheet with every fuel purchase since the beginning, and a trip log with everything I ever did with the truck since I drove it off the dealer lot. I often use the vehicle log book for billing purposes too. And I keep track of monthly operating hours to find the idle percentage, and of course whenever I do oil changes or add DEF that is noted.
I have a paper binder that lives in the truck door pocket with the pages that I fill in by hand, and then periodically I enter it into the spreadsheet so I have an electronic copy.

Is it possible to get an Excel version of your spreadsheet?

For those asking for a copy of Trent's spreadsheet I also have a similar spreadsheet that you can download via the link in my signature. With the spreadsheet open click File>Download as and then you can select Excel.
I note some of my service records in the spreadsheet but also scan in all service receipts (or product receipts for service I do at home) and save a pdf for each service item on my Google Drive.
