Adding to the OT:

I love my Glock 23 Gen 4, 13+1 rounds of .40 hollowpoints in a compact handgun. Fits my hand well, shoots great, I feel perfectly safe with it even without the thumb safety and backstrap safety. You put too many safeties on a gun and you run the risk of forgetting one or not activating it properly in a stressful situation.

I'll keep my ruger 357.mag security six with full metal jackets. I'm not a big fan of slide actions. I had a beretta that was the biggest POS

I got a buddy that deer hunts with one, he wears it around his neck with a sling he made for it. I also know a guy that owns a small sporting goods shop that has a matching pair of them, but it's so funny cause this guy is about 1" from being a legal midget! Seriously he's like 4 foot nothin and he holds both those 500s up and they're bigger than he is!

No just a hug glenn. Haha. And i too like the springfields i have a xdm 9mm and it holds 19 rounds. The only safetys on it is where your palm pushes the lever in and if you hold the gun up to something where the barral gets pushed in. Its a lil to big to pack i would like to get one of the compact versions. Here lately i have been packing a phenix 22 it holds ten rounds and fits in my pocket nice.
