has anybody on here swapped a 80-86 nose onto a 92-96 truck. i picked up a nose for a good deal and its way cleaner then the nose thats on it now. only really concerned about the light wiring. it would be awesome if there was lamps that just took the 92-96 wiring. i doubt it though.that would make things so much easier. also the bumper brackets are going to be fun.

 

I'm sure you can use the nose but save the harness from your 92-96 and use it to hook up your lights

 

yeah from my understanding. ill have to splice my head light and turn signal wires into the 80-86 sealed lamp harness

 

Can't you remove the older harness and use the newer one?
