I have one in my truck too i like it.. much cheaper than analog gauges and much easier to install lol. came in handy in my truck when the alternator went out, and already solved a couple problems in my uncles work 6.0 monitoring EOT v. ECT and FICM voltages

On my 07 F350 6.0L Diesel, I'm monitoring FICM, FWT, TFT, and trying to get the EOT to work right. I'm pretty sure I entered the right code strings, but in use, it gives a - minus reading then climbs into normal reading up to 264 then switches back to -113 and starts cycling back up again then back to negative territory.

Has anybody ever seen this before? I'm going to check the code string again in the am.

This is what I entered to start for EOT:
TXD 07E0221310
RXF 046245130610
RXD 3010
MATH 00900005F060
NAME EOT

This one has me scratching my head.

Stopped at the Cat scale and the truck (7,880#) and 5th wheel (12,760#) together (20,640#) and after doing the 600+ miles at 65-70 mph (averaged 7 mpg), coolant temp steady at 202f and transmission temp 167-171F. It was nice seeing the actual temps instead of the gauge cluster that never moves.

I wanted to make sure that everyone knew about this info: Ford Specific XGauges : Linear Logic : Home of the ScanGauge Keep in mind that not all of these sensors will be reported by your vehicle.

It may be worth putting together a list of ones that do work. Just a thought.

Finished the install on my 08. I went with the Blendmount, and mounted it above the rearview mirror. I have one on my 01, mounted the same way. It comes in handy because every time I check my mirror. I can check my guages. I usually show the Trans. temp, entering air temp, vlts, and Coolant temp. I never could get the trip guages to work properly on my 01. and the driving coach just took the BSEG off my face.

Just did my first tow with the SGII. It was very cool watching the temps move around as we drove. I experienced nearly all driving conditions over the 70 mile trip. Freeway stop-n-go, a few hills and some nice driving at 60mph with the cruise control on.

Last week I found out my oil starts to break down around 250 degrees. So I now know if my cylinder temps exceed that for a period of time, an early oil change is probably due.
