FREE PARTS! (NOT A "FOR SALE" thread)

Moderators Note: Read The Rules First Before You Post!

I love the idea for this thread, where Excursion brothers and sisters can help each other out by swapping parts or offering them for free! The original thread got really unwieldy and became inefficient, so we're starting from scratch and implementing some new rules.

The old thread had a lotta conversation, requests, pointers, tips, help, etc that cluttered the thread and made it difficult to find the free parts being offered. It defeated the reason for the thread because it was very difficult to go thru. However, because the old thread generated a lot more traffic, and it actually worked better than the replacement thread, we're going back to the old format.

So, here are the new/old rules for the thread. Please guys, follow these simple rules:

1) There is no attempt to sell anything, and please do not discuss shipping fee's. Take it to PM's to work out the transaction details, but don't talk about money in the thread. Remember guys, all sales are done in the Classifieds section.

2) Remember to edit your post and remove the item listed once you've shipped it to the new owner. If it's been over 30 days and you can't edit your post, PM a Moderator and we'll do it for you.

3) Last but most importantly, FTE and Internet Brands assumes no liability for parts not delivered, exchanged, etc. In other words, if a deal goes awry and you don't get what you were promised, we will not intervene.

2nd Mods Note

Okay guys, I'm gonna make some changes to this thread. It's over three years old now and it's gathered a lot of dust.

From now on this thread will only show posts for the last three months, max. I'm gonna put it on a three month rolling schedule, so on the first of every month (or thereabouts) the oldest month will be deleted.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OK, I don't know if this is LEGAL on this board, and I'm not trying to bend any rules, but I'd like to do a "Good Hand/Good Deed" Thread for people looking for certain parts/pieces to our EXCURSIONS that others can/will give them for FREE (the recipient pays actual shipping, if needed)

Can I make a rule? If you take a free item, DON'T SELL IT! That's just not how this kind of stuff should work...you know? Need a penny, take a penny!

Here's what I'm offering:

ALL ITEMS GONE

God bless you all!

I have
2 K&N filters, both used but in good shape

1 OEM air filter box, slightly modified, with lid but not the battery tray or the intake tube to turbo.

2 EBPV, both work as advertised, just deleted off the vehicles. No pics on phone to post but can send pics later if interested.

All parts came off either my 02 F350 or my 02 Excursion

You pay shipping. Coming from Panama City Florida 32404. PM me if interested.

Update #2: 1air box, pedestal, compressor wheel, 1 k&n filter, intercooler and intake boots are accounted for.

1 set of OEM intercooler tube boots and intake boots. No damage just upgraded to better ones.

1 EBP turbo pedestal. It has the notorious actuator leak so you will have to buy the rebuild kit or remove the guts and weld the hole up.

If your air box is the same as a 7.3L diesel then yes. I don't know what kind of air box comes on a V10.

Excursion Tan Running Boards

I just took off the Eddie Bauer tan running boards off of my 2000 ex. The bottoms are all rusted out but the actual plastic pieces are in good shape. Lenses for the lights are in good shape also. I will remove the brackets today and you can have them as well, assuming they come off without problem. Let me know if anyone wants them or in the trash on Friday. You pay shipping is all from 48157.

Replaced my old headlight/ blinker assy. Old ones are up for grabs plus the HIDs that were in them. Minor wear and tear. Aside from the main lenses being cataracts no real issues.
You pay for shipping, coming from Port Orchard, WA 98366

Would really REALLY like a 4wd switch bezel with just the switch and defrost (No parking sensor button) I hate asking in here and I hate when people ask for things in the give away thread because it feels like a misuse of the thread but whatever I'll gladly pay more than shipping as it's something I want, but not much as they can be found on eBay from time to time for about $25 shipped.

Did you check the gold mine in Texas? Ask nikmike, he's been helping the guy there on what's hot and what's not.

I actually just bought one on eBay like 10 seconds ago. I came back here to edit my post and you were here $20 shipped and I won't have my parking light on anymore (sensors removed for Westin bumper).
