I may be interested in your tan bumper. Is it front or rear? (assuming front)

If I end up picking up the bumper, Id also be interested in your spare rim/tire.

What town do u live in if u don't mind

Hey Andy- Ifn that tire is a Firestone Steeltex from days long gone, you might be able to get it replaced pro-bono. I know you are looking to just get rid of it, but might be worth pursuing...for a few reasons.
FWIW-I had mine replaced with just a cordial call to Bridgestone not too long ago.
Disregard if N/A.

How does this work? My spare is a like new steeltex. I should take a look at the spare in my spare X too, might be the same.

All it took for me was a call to Bridgestone America. (615) 937-1000
Local Firestone DLR knew nothing of old recall & wanted no part in finding out.
Armed w/ sidewall info, I called BA, spoke to CRep that indeed "wanted that series out of circulation".
Returned to Firestone DLR with case # from BA rep, and had a choice of 2) different Destinations in 265. (went w/ least aggressive to match Pirellis)
No talk of M/B..just a valve stem was briefly discussed.

(With Tirerack's sale on Pirellis, the free spare, even a new spare "lug nut compatible" wheel from Summit to match Centerlines, I was into 5 new shoes for less than $600.) Hence 1) reason for staying w/ 265's...

Good Luck-

DID YOU BUY that rig from the UP?
Wondered where that went, drove 14.5 hours to look at that one!
Did you get the hitch out of it?

I did get it from Houghton! Is there a reason(s) you didn't buy it? I was able to get the actual owners to drive it halfway and meet me in Iron Mtn. and only paid $5,000 for it. I offered full price, $5,800, if they drove it all the way to Green Bay but the son wouldn't do it but his parents (the actual owners) had no problem meeting me there.

No I didn't get the hitch out. It has a lock on it that he did not have the key to. I don't have anything to tow right now either, hopefully I don't have to torch it off.

What kind of locking pin does it have? If it is one with a 'cap' on the end where you insert the key, simply take a crowbar, put the end on the inside of the cap lip with the bar vertical and pry against the hitch.

You may want to open the doors all the way (remove the retaining strap) to be certain you don't touch the doors.

It takes about 10 secs to remove one of those. I've lost a number of keys over the years. Think I help keep those mfrs in business

I'll give it a shot! What's your address so I can send the bill in case it gets damaged?

Who is this 'ExPACamper' you speak of? LOL.

Just be careful. I've even used a post hole tamper (about 6-7' long and wide at the bottom) in a pinch. Usually backing into a trailer when I realize I don't have the right ball size and need to switch hitches and can't find the key

Oh yeah, the advice is worth exactly what you paid for it

Good luck
