Any ideas for exhaust for king ranch?

Hey whats up guys, i always lurk around these forums alot...anyway i have a 2001 king ranch with 245000 miles and i lifted it 6 inches and put 35s on a few months ago and as i expected the gas mileage went from about 14-15 to about 10-11...... i have a spectre cold air intake but what i was really wondering was how to boost my gas mileage with keeping a good sound....currently i have the factor exhaust system but i switched out the muffler with just a pipe....i had no muffler and no tail pipe on for a few months but realized that was hurting the truck and lost a lot of power(no back pressure) i've tried the "violator" from pypes for a muffler but it wasnt as loud as i expected and i feel just having the tail pipe on now sounds alirght but i would liek to get a couple more miles to the gallon....I'm a kid, turning 19 in june and i had intentions to get a cowl hood but realized i'd never be able to match up the paint as its proabaly faded so i already have about 800 to put in to my exhaust...i guess my question is what muffler will let me keep a loud truck or is it worth it to just get an entire new exhaust system....those 4 cats i have are not helping me get any louder....and no offense but i dont wanna hear anyone shunning me away from going louder because when i was rolling with no muffler and the pipe coming out under the passanger seat i was never bothered by the cops...also ive tried glass packs but i'm looking for something loud......any all suggestions will...and feed back please....thanks alot guys...i wouldnt mind a little more defined tone....aka you can tell i dont have a muffler haha thanks again

I have had straight pipe with all 4 cats didn't like it, straight pipe 2 hi flow cats too loud! Put in flowmasters it was ok not my fav, replaced mufflers with x pipe good sound lots of pop today as a joke my buddy put a 2 1/4 Y to 4" adapter to 5" pipe mid cab back to 6" polished tip and now has a whole new tone known to gas jobs! Still a little pop at high rpms but nice rumble! That's on my 02 king ranch. I'll run that till I get a new idea lol
