Strange Engine Bog Issue (random and momentarily)
Here is the case. I drive a 150 mile trip once a week, mostly 60-65 mph highway. Well in the last 3 months it started randomly bogging down slightly with the cruise on. I can be going along and its like a strong gust of wind hits the truck from the front. It will make the engine bog then it like releases or frees up and the truck carries on. I also noted on my edge evo (not programmed just plugged in for the gauges) that it shows the engine load shoot from about 30% cruising to about 80% when it have its issue then on the sort of POP release the load goes back down to the normal range. The entire bog down only lasts about 3-5 seconds and I can power out of it by pressing the gas. It may happen 15 times on the trip may only happen once or twice...very random...HELP!
Things I have tried
Replaced plugs and COPS
Replaced FPDM
Cleaned MAF and TB
Replaced Air Filter
Changed Oil
Fuel Filter changed in November

I had an issue sort of like that on my truck...
Everything would be fine at freeway speed, until I'd hit an incline for instance. The conditions were typically in 4th gear/OD cruising, the RPMs would increase to 1400 or so due to incline and the truck would bog like no other. If I punched it or took the truck out of OD, the RPMs would obviously increase and the problem would correct itself. So it definitely had to do with engine strain. After awhile, I narrowed it down to a miss in one cylinder and a complete plug change (save for a weekend with no plans) fixed the problem.
May or may not be what your problem is, but it is a start.

just sorting that out myself. theres tons on here about that issue, search engine stutter or engine stumble. i had a lot of mechs check mine out and lots of crap info back from them. finally took it to ford, number 1 cylinder had a coil shorting, ws arcing on the block. just got it back, we'll see if its fixed. long story short, probably ignition related. good luck, and welcome to the mystery engine stutter club ( highway edition only tho - haha).
