Thank you, I'm reviewing the checklist now. going to start working on it today. I also agree on the bats, I'm in the process of charging them while doing other things to the truck today.
Update: the other day I tested the FICM at Key on and had 48 volts, today I had a helper and after replacing both batteries, I tested while turning over and had only 20 volts so now I'm suspecting that it's confirmed FICM failure. I called FICM Fixer and he will rebuild next week.

Update, took FICM to FICMFixer.com and within the hour, the unit was fixed, installed today and the truck is running like a top. Thanks Texastech for the info and the help.
