Would replacing front hub cause alignment issue?

Quick question. I had my right front hub replaced on my 2011 F250 (4x4). It went out around 86000 miles. It was replaced under warranty. Ever since the dealer did the work, the alignment hasn't been right, truck would pull to the left, and I'd have to drive with the wheel turned to the right. Would replacing the front hub impact the front alignment?

I'm currently in a "debate" with the service tech on who is responsible for the costs of an alignment, and I don't know enough about the front end of the F250 to know if the hub replacement and bad alignement are connected, or just a coincidence? Obviously, the service tech is going with coincidence.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

I suppose it is possible that the new hub has less rotating resistance than the old hub.. It would be sort of like a brake dragging and would cause a pull. If that is the case, then the actual alignment would be fine.

I would jack up the front end and see if their is a noticeable difference in the effort it takes to turn the tires.

Kinda unscientific, but if that is the case, I would then petition Ford to replace the other obviously failing hub. Probably get a little more MPGs to boot.
