I have the same Cragar soft 8's on my truck and you want to watch the powder coating. I haven't taken real good care of mine, meaning I didn't wash them enough and stuff and they are starting to rust around the outside where the rim is put together. One of them was defective from the factory I think because now the whole surface of it is somewhat rough feeling but the other three are still smooth as glass (except in the creases where the rust is trying to start).

Truck looks good, I've always like the 78's with round headlights. My truck used to be my dad's too.

 

My ole girl is now for sale Things have changed and I have to let her go. She is being offered in the for sale area for $2350.00 obo or partial trades. I hope some one can take her and make her nice again, she deserves a good home.

 

I always like having black deep dish wheels on trucks, gotta find some for my '79.
