Thanks guys.

You got that right Gabe. I do need to get into this thing and see what I can do to make it run like it should. I think I may order a set of injector o-rings and put another set of injectors into the truck (that someone was kind enough to loan me) and see what happens.

Then again, I may be just about to bite off another little "project"....

Oh, and my shop just inherited a Subaru in about 200 pieces. Waiting on someone else to get their poop in a group for that one to get done as well. It may have to go outside for a while.

Im over the whole dealership experience. I wouldn't go to them but I typically cant find what Im looking for outside a dealership and I typically need to trade something in.

If I had the choice between getting a junkyard 7.3 and fixing my current one, id rather fix my current one. The only problem is Im no good at diagnostics lol. If I 100% knew what was wrong with it, Id just fix the dern thing lol

I forgot to mention, I had a job opportunity come to me. An older guy I work with bought himself a Super Bee in Mooresville, NC and needs a way to get it home. I mentioned I could prolly go get it for him and he got kinda excited lol. I mapped it out with google and its around 950 miles. Not "too" bad but after my trip to RRE.... idk lol. Im sure that car plus a trailer would really dog the ol 7.3 down plus my pizza cutters, plus interstate speeds, plus mountains...

I guess I could go out and try to find myself the biggest used tires I can and put em on the rear axle lol.

Funny thing is, no matter which route I take, I will drive right by the Newport KOA lol

With the smaller tires you're running I'm sure you could get that car and trailer home just fine. Just take your time and don't get in a hurry and you'll be just fine. I have towed quite a few cars on trailers with my truck in stock form and I haven't had a problem towing them. With your 4.10s and pizza cutters you should have even better gearing for towing them. I would tend to avoid the WV Turnpike (77) and the associated steep pulls if you're worried about the weight, but it really shouldn't be a bad pull for you. Heck, you could make a long weekend of it and stay at the KOA a couple nights.

And Todd, do I take that to mean you're ready for wiring? My offer to help still stands.

Well bring that thing over jp and let's tear it down and see what it looks like. I will pull my psd off the stand and we can get down to it. I'm not doing anything on my engine build anyway for a long time.just too lazy to take it off if no reason.

Well, with all this engine talk going on, I had to post a few photos for my own well-being. A few new truck parts and some summer days we've had these last few weeks. I missed RRE, but I guess life isn't all bad.

New truck parts from Clay! Gave me about 4-5 pounds of boost! Think my other ones were bad?

Getting very close now. I've finally gotten some help and it's amazing have much faster things have started to fall into place. If the framing is wrapped up either tomorrow or the early part of next week, it's on to the Romex.
