Good decision Bill, LOL

Gabe, I know your trans is out but I'm sorta worried about those up pipes fitting down with the trans in?? Does Jake provide any directions that you know of?

He said he was gonna email me the directions for the kit and the e fuel but i havent seen it yet. I even asked again when i told him bout the plenums so idk. I guess we will figure it out haha. But ya that was tight in there Glenn. Jason did it so it is possible. I was over the engine wiggleing and john was under it. Jason did mention something bout taking off the motor mount and jacking the engine up. But we didnt do anything like that. The motor was just resting on the mounts since the trany was out, so it was down in the back.

Ya, when I bought the dually my ears were burning all day long, LOL.

Maybe I'll bug Jake also for some directions. I'm still debating whether to get his e fuel or rob mine off of the mule, IDK! The kit you got was the $1K kit, isn't it?

Ugh

Well yall its been a rough few days. Didnt work mon or today. I went to doc and have strep and ear infection.
I havent gotten to drive the truck much, but i feel as if 1050 miles in a day is good enough.
As for future plans...this one is completely stock and unmangled. However that means its needs a good chunk in parts just to get it up to par. Also, there seems to be a lot of CCLB trucks out there in colorado. A lot of them right about 200k...and have a few minor mods. (like DP and guages and intercooler) of course they all vary, but anyway there seem to be other options of trucks for 1k more that have mods valueing more than 1k on them.

Heres the deal... a few friends (including the one I drove out there with) love this rust free stock 7.3 and said they would buy it off me. I thought they were kidding which most were, but one of my friends offered me a price that covers what I paid for the truck(ended up being $5800) AND the cost of the trip. So basically I can unload this truck before messing with it too much AND make about $100 after its all said and done.

Cuz I dont have a shop and both trucks would be sitting out over the winter and probably no work would get done until Spring. I want to swap my tires and HPOP and stuff over to the new truck, but if I could get one with a DP and intercooler.. then i just need to swap those few things(HPOP tires and Chip) then I just need injectors and turbo.

Hmm IDK sorry for rambling after taking some antibiotics this is the few time I could think somewhat straight anyway. I think if I ever make the trip to CO again I wouldnt do it in 2 days.

Oh and the downside that IDK if any of yall knew.. it was in a fire. I have one crummy shot of the engine bay.. lots of stuff just melted. All works fine as I said it drove 1000 miles easy.

And what yall been waiting for... PICS!!!!

We shall see... not doing NUTHIN until I feel better. lol
Should start feeling better tomorrow now that I have meds. lol

I just feel like after all the OBS Ive looked at and reading ive done on here I can find a really good OBS and know what was mangled with and what isnt.
Since I have no shop or garage my trucks can fit in it just is kinda a PITA. my lifted one dont fit due to height.. and a CCLB is 21' long and it dont fit in the garage either. lol

Hes alive! Nice rig Alex! You should start a obs car lot and just go out there once a week and get two or three haha. That is a really good price for a truck like that.

Very nice looking truck Alex. As Aaron said, I would not part with that for a lousy $100. You should be able to make at least a grand on it, friend or no friend. Sleep on it and get better, that's more important. Also what Aaron said, like the dually I just got, its bone stock and that's the way to start with the mods.

Been thinking about doin that. Clean OBS strokes fetch good money around here. That's around a 10k truck down here Alex, well maybe not with the fire.
