Be at the grandkids tomorrow if I can keep these 14 wheels rolling.
How's the rig pulling Glenn? Everything running like you want it to?

This sounds like fun! Sounds like some of the dumb stuff my cousin and I used to do when we would get together. We were probably 12 or so when we wandered into the orchard at my grandparents' house where all their old dead cars were (like my grandpa's own private junkyard). I don't know what possessed us to do it, but we decided to play "fireman" and pretend to put out all the car fires we could. Of course every 12 year old kid knows that to put out a car fire, the first thing you have to do is gain access to the interior by smashing out the windshield. Yeah, we got into some serious doodoo for that one. Well deserved too, I'd probably about blow a gasket if my kid did that now. The cars were all junk and worthless anyway, but still...

Got lucky Nate (first time for everything) had a tail wind five out of six days. We are at the grandkids now but yesterday was a 'against the wind' battle. I put a lot of water thru that motor, LOL Its running good, not excellent but I expect to much! 1666 miles down, 8K to go, LOL

I think it only delays the inevitable. It takes longer to get up there but I can still bury the gauge. The water seemed to help some. I know I'm not giving a very good answer but there are so many variables its just hard to say. Am I happy I installed the IC & water injection, yes. Am I happy about the price of the IC, no.

When the water comes on how much does it lower your egt's?

There was an explosion near us yesterday. I don't know where it was, but I was taking a Sunday afternoon nap, when Boom, the whole house shook, baby crying and all. I looked around to make sure it wasn't something of mine, it wasn't. So I didn't worry about it too much.

I can't say it lowers the EGT's, just sometimes. If I stay into it it's like the IC, levels it off and helps slow it from raising. Basically I think I have too big of injectors to keep it cool. Jim and John woods both told me this, Darin too!

we used to take balloons or condoms, light the cutting torch, then snuff out the flame and fill said balloons or condoms. tie them off and hang them from the eaves of the packing shed. then when some unsuspecting fool went into the shed, a lit cigarette on the end of a stick was used as a fuse to light off the bomb.

one time over the summer a friend that was EOD in the army came home and said "i can take care of that old apple tree" and wrapped 30 FT of detcord around the stump and wired it back to the barn. touched the ends of the wires to a truck battery and the tree dissapeared.
another time he came home for christmas leave with 2 ammo cans full of 223 tracers and a few artillery simulators.
an artillery simulator is about the size of a 12 ounce beer can. he pulled the pin and tossed it out onto the frozen pond.
when it went off it blew a 4 foot diameter hole in the ice.
we used the tracers in the mini 14's and AR-15's on new years eve, shooting down into the woods for 10 minutes.
it was a good thing most of the police force was family or friends.

I'm glad to hear that things are going as well as could be expected, Glenn. Hopefully the progress is smooth for you.

Tom, that sounds like a whole lot of fun!

Phil, I wonder is someone was shooting tannerite.... Pretty cool stuff. It's a binary explosive that is legal (for now) and can be shipped through the mail. You add the two components together, hit it with a bullet and the shock sets it off. Makes a big boom when that stuff goes off. You should check it out.

Well I guess I can let the cat out of the bag, I found me a D60 Axle. Well actually Bill gets all the credit, he found it. Will pry take delivery at RRE, unless someone makes a trip out there first *COUGH* Aaron, JP *COUGH*

Its a kingpin axle, and I'm almost afraid to admit how much I paid for it, its complete. Will need a re-gear, so if anyone has 3.55 stuff for a D60, let me know. I don't tow much and live in the flat lands, so I think Im good. I'm excited!
