the official OBS diesel off topic thread
Dang good price.. I'll have to see what the previous owner paid for the Coopers that were on my truck. I didn't have any big problems with them and I think they had about 45k miles on them, but I still hated them. I'm ecstatic to have them off my truck. Lol
Today was full of ups and downs. Well one down anyway. It started out with my daughter an I hitting the highway to get parts for my plow. We ended up doing a nice country drive and had quite a bit of fun on the trip. About 6 month ago I got them these little nerd bow and arrow sets. The only problem with them is they just bounce off of whatever they hit. So today I figured I would paint a target on a round bale and put a cup of paint for them to dip there arrows in. It worked ish but it's just not the same as pulling the arrow out, so o brought my bow out and gave them each one of my arrows to try. I'm not gonna lie. It worked quite well
http://s1333.photobucket.com/user/kl...ufzb9.mp4.html They tried to pull my bow back but at 60lbs they got about 2" lol Then the bad. I saw my old truck. The one that got me into the Ford diesel world. Sure doesn't look the same. This truck wasn't pretty when I had it, but it was clean, straight, and reliable. You can still see MOOSE MACHINE on the bug deflector and tailgate

I've heard lots of people complain about them, but I've yet to have a problem. The truck doesn't get driven much anymore and hopefully never in the salt baths again. When I did have it in the snow, it performed great. I've never had any AT do well in the mud. It's not what the tire was meant for anyway. If you're in the mud enough and complain about an AT, then it's time for an MT. I'm rarely in the mud and MT's don't work well for what my truck does. So far they've been a great all around tire. And the price was great!
I didn't park it. I sold it because my wife wanted a car and I had no need for 2 trucks. I shoulda sold the other truck. Oh well. The old girl either has a blown head gasket or a cavitation problem. I kept up on the sca but I don't know about the previous owner. That truck has been sitting here for probably 4 years now. The interior looks like the exterior. I thought about buying it back but man it would be a lot of work just to clean it up and then I'd have to make it road worthy lol

I'm looking for something along the lines of an AT when I get tires for my OBS, because it will spend most of its time on the highways over anything else.
