Gotta be a popup, hopefully something comes along. Anyone have experience with these?

If you're looking for a pop up, Nate (DIY Mechanic) might still have his for sale. It's a big pop up and is in real nice shape. It's been a while since I've talked with him about it so I don't know if he still has it or recall the price, but it might be worth the time to find out.

Thanks Glenn!

Thanks Jose! These mirrors work pretty well with my big round mirror I added onto the frame.

That's a great picture, Byron. Ruby is quite the photogenic gal, isn't she?

Sorry Todd, the pop up left the lot last week. I think Andrew is looking for a pop-up truck camper too, not a pop up trailer or a truck camper.

Something like this:

Or hey, maybe he could pull one off like this!!

Alright guys, I'm at a loss.

I'm trying to locate the 3/8" heater hose stock that I need to install my bypass coolant filter and I'm not having a lot of luck. Nobody locally carries anything smaller than 1/2" in coolant line and they are all trying to sell me fuel line. My issue is that fuel line generally isn't rated for that kind of temperatures. Most of the fuel line I am seeing is only rated to about 200*F, which is close, but not quite there.

I can find the stuff online, but it seems I have to buy it 25 or 50 feet at a time and I only need about 10' of the stuff. What have you guys used for your bypass filter installations?

I just used 5/8 heater hose and called it good. I thought the kit came with 5/8 fittings??

Shoot, you know what I bet I did? I bet I saw that the inlet and outlet for the filter base are 3/8" (NPT) and mistakenly got 3/8 hose barb fittings for the hoses, without investigating to see what size the fittings included in the filter base are. I'll have to look tonight and see what size hose fittings are required for the fittings that came with the base. I can't find that spec listed anywhere. I bet that's it.

Edit: Never mind, Guzzle clearly says he used 3/8" hose on his install. I still wonder what size the fittings are on the filter base I got.
