Taking risks can be fun and rewarding. I think once we make it to adults, our risky behavior has an edge of caution and experience behind it already, unless you add a few drinks to the mix.

I somewhat agree and disagree. Im still considered young by most and I almost never take chances when it comes to finances, hence the reason I shy away from doing something drastic like starting a business. You could make more money than you know what to do with, or you could lose it all.

But on the other hand, Ill take chances on most anything else. Back when I had my F-150 sitting on 36s, there was no mud hole left unconquered lol

And now I say Ill never own a lifted truck again. My how times change lol

And not to change subjects, but how do you like your "west coast style" mirrors ProjectDually?

I like them, I can see over the top of the box which is nice, but for backing up, I need those convex mirrors to see where the wheels are. I also need to fab a different mount so they hang out father, they do create a blind spot. These older one piece extended mirrors on the dually's here are what I'm going for. Or figuring out how to mount some new SD dually mirrors to the door.

Hope everyone else is staying warm and getting ready for the holiday season. We are around here! We leave for Texas Sunday morning. Everything is pretty much ready to go. I hate leaving my job because it has seriously been on of the best companies I have ever worked for. But, I gotta pursue this thing and see it through. The unknown can be uneasy sometimes, but taking risks makes life worth living.
GRAD SCHOOL!? you crazy lol

I may do an MBA after a year or two assuming my company pays the bill, but for the most part a masters and phd in engineering actually narrows your job options because not many companies want to pay for an engineer with that much schooling and little experience (they are forced to pay you too much) lol
At least thats my knowledge on the subject.

See yall later. *insert coffee emoticon here*

So is there a cliff notes for the last couple hundred pages or so? You folks still accept soooper doooty types that drop in around here occasionally?

Kind of got myself side tracked with new grandkids, projects at home, and a whole bunch of stuff at work so I haven't been around as much.

Hey Chris! Not been on as much as usual myself. I been slammed with side work doing mechanic work in my shop at home after work all summer and fall. That has slowed down now, but now I'm trying to get caught up on all the stuff around the place here that I neglected all summer! LOL! Great to see you on here! I was wondering where you were.

I think I need to look for a busted knuckle garage sign to hang in the new shop. I think I'll just steal that one from you Bill.

So far I've just got a generic Ford sign, a USMC sign, and one the kid got me that says Dad's garage, where oil changes are always free.

You can order all that Busted Knuckle stuff on line. They have all kinds of signs and different stuff. I have two signs and a thermometer in the shop, and I have a coffee mug too. And the one about the oil changes for the kids being free......ain't that the truth! Along with body repair from accidents engine swaps, trans swaps, etc....LOL! I wouldn't have it any other way though.
