You can't fill up at the truck pumps because they don't charge the road tax on it.
The law was changed at some point for diesel, so technically you are allowed to pump your own diesel here, and I do most of the time, but they tend to give you the stink-eye the whole time...
I always fill my own too. At first the attendants were a bit squirrely. They got over it when I explained it was slow filling and I was tired of getting diesel on my flatbed from an inattentive attendant, who doesn't listen when I warn them.
While we are on this subject, do the 97's need the fuel tank mod done on them? It seems to fill much better then my 96 did when I first got it.
My 97 fuels just fine, even used the large nozzle a few times it didn't even fit very well but filled it up pretty fast. Only problem is when I go to pay the bill
Well Mike delivered some disheartening news last night. The cores didn't make it to him yesterday. Which if the ins co picks up his truck Mon, the stage 2's are headed to the scrap yard. Thanks a bunch US postal service for your guaranteed overnight delivery.

Sorry to hear that Todd. I know you were excited to get those. That sucks.
