Not a registered engineer, no. I have been in in the business 19 years now though. I've never been pressed to get licensed, and honestly when I look at the landscape of the companies I've been at I didn't want the professional liability issues.
I've made a good life of being the mid-level engineer/designer type, and money ain't everything. I manage what I have well - even with my truck habit lol.
