the official OBS diesel off topic thread
I just turned to my girlfriend and said "well, are you ready to go" lol. Then I turned to him and said there is no way I'm taking $7000 for my truck. He said, that's the best we can do. I pushed the paper back to him and said lets go honey lol. That's when he said hang on, I'll go talk to my manager. He came back and said we just can't do any better, yada yada yada were only making $300 profit on that car, yada yada we can do better on a used one. No thank you, shook his hand, and left. I'm a pretty nice guy even when I'm mad
More nice than I would have pry been. I've only ever bought 1 car from a dealer, and wasn't real fond of the experience. In fact I got so mad I got up and left, then I thought about it over night and ended up taking the deal. It was either that or keep dumping money into my old one. It makes it hard though when some one calls your trade junk, while yes it was pry "junk", it was still mine lol.
We need to set up a work day at JP's place and get that dually running. We could swap the 7.3 from your other OBS into it pretty easy.
We made it home from that state up North. Truck did fine toting the little camper. You can't really even feel it back there except that the tongue weight makes the truck ride a little smoother. I'm guessing that camper probably only weighs in at about 3500 pounds loaded. Truck ran like it always does, spotty. I'm learning how to drive around the issue I'm having though. At any rate, we made it home. Only one blow out and it was on my buddy's camper. Funny thing is that he had one blow about the same spot on more or less the same trip last year. I put new rubber on our before we left for RRE so I didn't have to worry about that issue. It was a nice week away, but it's good to be home.

Boys...he needs the 250 because its 4wd...the dual lie isn't...need a good enough used PSD for the dual lie and a clutch.
I was thinking we could do like you said Aaron and get a motor out of a bone yard or somthing. I see them on cl every now and again. But they usually think they are gold. I'm trying to remember that site you tolde you could get parts.
