Anyone hear from Glenn recently? I sent him a text yesterday, but he hasn't replied.

I spoke to him about two weeks ago through text . I believe he is in that part of the country where reception is questionable.

Texted with him on Monday, he is up in the UP where there is no reception. I was getting worried too. But was assured that all is well and he will be back soon.

Thanks for checking on me guys! Finally got out of the trees and got the satellite up but still no cell phone reception even with a booster. I pulled into this camp ground and buried the pickup in sand. Cut off from the camper and took a 45° angle to the camper so I wouldn't get in the 'holes' and got it out. My wife and I kept hearing a chirping sound under the hood. My wife told me I have a bird under the hood. I took the belt off and all the pulley's seem fine so I guessed it was the vacuum pump and replaced it. The 'bird' went away but the ripped pulley on the SD tensioner bothers me. I took it off and it smeared some grease around but it still seems rough when you spin it. Also put on a new belt, hope its all good for the trip home from Mi. It will be a few thousand miles! This is a picture of the no satellite and no cell phone place.

i would pick up a new belt and tensioner to have in the back seat so you have the parts to fix it when the tensioner lets go at 7pm saturday night 500 miles from nowhere.

Sorry nathan. I dont have any rubber kicking around the farm.

Hey question for you experts. When I drive in economy tune or daily driver the motor is noticeably louder than the rest. Can anybody explain that. At idle they all sound the same. Only above 900 rpm does it change. I'm assuming timing or icp but the tuner says he doesn't mess with the timing

Ahh good to be back. My 2nd iPhone 6 quit do has to wait a week for a replacement...

I've had a slide in camper before. They're great because they don't require license or insurance and you don't have to worry about a trailer. Bad part is they're as fuel efficient as a 5th wheel since they're so tall. I got 6 mpg in my first ever PSD, but I we running it hard too

Good to see ya around Glenn!

On a side note, my trucks been acting up a bit recently. Nothing major, it's just when I'm cruising through town at a steady speed, my diesel "knock" will come and go. Almost like it's cutting out for a split second. It doesn't feel like it's losing power much when it does it but it is only for a split second. I didn't think it was real bad until I had my window down one day, then it's pretty noticeable

I have this happen too. My thought was timing advance. Reminds me of my old idi when I started it cold it sounded like that and idled higher, then after a few minutes it went back down and was quieter.
