If there's one thing I've found Glenn, it's that this truck community is like a brotherhood and we pick each other up when possible. If I weren't so far out, I'd lend a hand as well.

haha, I'll do just that. Even if this doesn't happen those things will have to be done anyway. Maybe, just maybe, I can get my buddy from Evansville, IN to make me a high pressure oil line and return line, for a price of course.

If this happens at all, I want it to be known that I pay for everything!! No freebies!

Edit: Your absolutely right Bill!

Turbo to Barder, yes, stix to Jim is pretty easy since he's less than an hour and a half away from my house. Day one, we pull the stix and run them up to Jim, I talk really sweet to him, I bet he could turn them around pretty quick for us. O-rings and such we should get from Clay or Bob, but there are a half a dozen auto parts stores within a 15 minute drive of my place and I know of this little junk yard just chock full of old Fords. I think it would be better to have the Mare here too to cut down on the chance that we'd not have something we needed, plus I don't know if you're talking to...ahem.... that local guy that wants it.... but it'd be that much closer that way.

Heck if it will save on time, I'll rent the trailer, drag it up there, and then follow you back to my place (provided I can keep up.... ).

Only weekend that I'm really out coming up is the weekend of the 14th of August. Then I'm open until the end of September.

Heck the wife and I have been talking about how it would be nice to have some sort of get together to have everybody get together, this sounds like as good a cause as any to have everybody here.

There are a couple of hydro shops in town that can get us whatever we need. One of them has a 24 hour emergency service too. My brother works in a little machine shop and I can run up there and use just about anything we need gratis if we know what we need ahead of time.

The only thing that makes it a little dicey is that doing this over a weekend, some of the usual suspects won't be open. All the big box stores would be, but Saturday would be our only option for getting into the parts we needed elsewhere. One more reason I think the Mare should be here in case we needed to rob something.

I seriously think this would be a blast. It'd be my only vacation this summer and this honestly appeals to me more than just about any other option. Heck, this sounds about as much fun to me as RRE, to be honest.

I'm off to bed (0500 comes early in these parts) but I'll check in here again in the morning and see what's developing.

Well dudes, count me in. I should have the time to get away and the wife just ok'd it if I can find a cheap enough plane ticket or just drive up myself. Nate, you have room for all the OBS trucks in your yard?

Todd, here ya go!

There you go again Nate, blowing me away! My wife can't believe this either, she said its like in the old days everybody getting together and helping a guy build his barn. Todd mentioned he could get a trailer and go get it so I'll have to give him a call. I'm going to have to figure out how to get my little trailer down there too (has the motor and trans) and the Geo. We keep talking about going to see my daughter in Baltimore and your all that much closer Nate. I don't really want to drag the 5er there, we can just stay with her. I'm going out to the place in the picture again Wed, I'll get the turbo to send in. I don't know if I can roll that motor to get the stix's on down side or not, I'll see. I'm going to have to install the trans cooler though. I pulled my scan gauge out of the mare and had to solder the wires back together but it still works. Today going down the freeway it was 205° unloaded!

I think kevin would forgive me tho
Thomas...not so much.
