I usually don't like going to the movie theater, too many people, but I'd go to watch that!

Love them far far far better than the duramax.
Care to elaborate on your reasoning here? I'm not quite sure if you're serious or not...

Edit: The GM 6.2L and 6.5L, as best I can tell, are the poster children for junk Diesels in light trucks. Even the hardcore Chevrolet fan at the farm I used to work at spoke poorly about these engines. I will say that with a disclaimer that I have no personal experience or real knowledge about those engines.

6.5, the other one was junk.

6.5's were good motors.

The old ones were the 350 conversions I think.
Those things about ruined the consumer diesel community.

I was in a bar last night and saw two girls of size (as Political Correctness now requires us to say) by the bar. They both spoke with a heavy brogue accent, and making assumptions about their origins I said, "Hello, are you two girls from Scotland?" One of them screamed, "It’s WALES you friggin idiot!"

So I immediately apologized and said, "Sorry, are you two whales from Scotland?".....and that's when the trouble started.

The 350 conversions still displaced 350 cubic inches, I believe. I found upon reading that while the 350 Diesels may have been based on the gasoline 350s, it was not a straight-up conversion. There's quite a bit of information about this on this wikipedia page, if you accept that as a source. Click Here!

The 6.2L was a whole separate engine. The 6.5L was basically a 6.2L that was beefed up and overhauled to handle a turbocharger. That's what I'd heard, and I found this website that agrees with me. Click Here!
