It's a crf50. He's been riding my 1987 yamaha pw50 so I figured it was time for a little more power. I have a full fmf exhaust and a carb kit on order

Happy Halloween all!

Today was a pretty crappy day at work, but it just got made up for! If you guys recall, when I bought my SD, it had a DP Tuner in it with 8 tunes. I didn't have a clue what they were. I tried calling the dealership SEVERAL times and they would never call me back with the guys name.... I got some paperwork from the dealership today and one of the papers had the guys name on it! I gave em a call and long behold, I know the tunes on my truck! I am PUMPED!!!

1. Stock
2. High Idle, 1300 RPM (a bit high for my liking)
3. 80 hp Econo
4. 100 hp Performance
5. 120 hp Race
6. 140 hp Aggressive
7. Decel
8. Lope Idle

Id like to trade the high idle for a towing tune and the Lope for a Drive-Thru tune, but Im just happy to know what they are!. Too bad its a DP5 and not a DP6...

Howdy fellas.

In diesel news in my camp, I got the first part of my mild lift when the Sky Offroad RSK kit showed up on Wednesday. Just gotta get the OUO Traction Blocks and B-code rear springs, and we're off and running.

JP - knowledge is power...and in this case 8 positions of power. Glad you got that figured out. I will probably go a different route when it comes time for tuning the OBS though because of some of the recommendations I've gotten for other tuners (Gearhead, Innovative, etc.).

I didn't get the choice with my truck lol. But hey, it was free (minus the cost of the truck...)

On Riffraffs website, it says you really need injectors to run any tune over 100 hp. Iv got two tunes for over 100 hp... I guess Ill try not to use them lol

Hey, I'll be the first to admit that if it's free, it's for me! LOL...

The game plan for me, prior to tuning, is to do sticks, a turbo, and e-fuel. So I might be a while before I get to the tuning part of it since none of that stuff is cheap.

On a obs you need injectors to really run anything over 60hp.

On the sd you can run the 80-100hp because they have AB code injectors (140cc). With the 140hp tunes you still get some advantage. Faster throttle response different shift points ect.
