1999 2014 Ford F250 F350 Super Duty Pickup Truck Bed Bolts and Clips | eBay
Trust me, cheaper to get through eBay or if you know someone local who does take-offs to do utility bodies on the SD trucks than it is to go through Ford. Also, there's 2 different part numbers for these through Ford, and one doesn't have threads (they self-cut the threads when you put them on...). That's a pain and you don't want those going by the advice of some of my friends who have done this.
That J clip is used on various body parts throughout the truck, but in this case it happens to be substantial enough to hold the bed in place. There's 2 advantages - 1 is that there's no nut/washer to back off, and 2 is that you can tighten the bolts from on top of the bed, since they're T50 torx heads.
Hope that's the explanation you needed...

Hey all!

Phil - these are what he is talking about. When I took my bed off I replaced the bed bolts with these as well. The black clips basically wrap around the frame and 'spring' into the bolt hole so they stay put as you wrench on them from the top.
The SD beds are bolted down with 8 bolts... 4 long and 4 shorter.
I only used 4 bolts (2 long closest to the cab and 2 short closest to the bumper). If you want to replace the 2 in the middle the short SD bolts will work, but you need to do some drilling out of the holes for them to fit.
Hope thats clear.

OBS 8' beds have 6 bolts.
Super Duty beds have 8 bolts.
So if you buy a set of SD bolts you will have extras.
4 Super Duty bolts will fit right into the factory holes, but if you want all 6 replaced with Super Duty bolts you will need to drill out the two middle holes as they are shaped differently from the sleeves on the OEM bolts.
Well look at me! I made it on twice in one day! LOL
Only like 6 weeks to go. or 7. IDK, but man Im tired.
