I did lose my mind, because I never want to go back. I admit, seeing some of the sights (I got to see the Statue of Liberty and the Twin Towers before 9/11, as well as some of the other landmarks) was cool...but it's not somewhere I long to go for sure.

Owned the truck for less than 24 hours and the stacks are OUTTA HEAAA! Iv never been so eager to take something OFF a truck before lol. My dad said he might swap me taillights too. Sounds like Ill have a normal looking truck before the end of the day! I wonder if a Cummins guy would swap me a set of gauges for them stacks lol

I also stopped by the gas station on my way home. 31 gallons of fuel and $112 later...

My OBS has a hole where the stacks used to stick up through, but we covered that with some sheetmetal screws and a piece of bed floor day after I bought it. Not rockin' the stacks here - I like my 4" too much. So good call on getting rid of those.

Your truck would look awesome with an '08 tailgate and bumper.

I do really like the 08+ tailgates! But im sure theyre pricy lol

Iv been told several times, and I "somewhat" agree: my truck was one of the best looking truck with stacks. Theres just no way Id leave em in there lol. I despise stacks!

Good looking truck JP!

Haven't checked in with you guys in a bit. Last weekend was rough, but it's a new day! Lol. The mud guys started in on my Sheetrock yesterday and I hope they'll be sanded and out by the end of the week. I'll post some pics tonight. I was up till 2am finishing the board/corner bead getting it ready for them, only to be up at 530. That was a long one. But it will all be worth it if I can somehow get this thing live able before the baby. Next thurs would be full term for him and she could go at any time.

Looking good JP. I like that color combination a lot. It's a good looking truck for sure, but it's no OBS...

Sounds like you're burning the candle at both ends Todd. Take care and keep us updated! Sounds like there may be another Shrager kicking around here shortly!

Morning fellas.

I considered a Super Duty before settling on the OBS. I like the body lines, but finding one worth buying locally was actually harder than getting an OBS. I was either finding totally used up trucks, or the prices were out of this world.

Hang in there Todd - hope it all comes together for you.
